Product Description
Ascorbic Acid is a white or slightly yellow crystals or powder, a little acid with the m.p. of 190℃-192℃. It is easily soluble in water, a little soluble in alcohol and uneasily soluble in Ether and chloroform and other organic solvent. In solid state it is stable in air. Its water solution is easily mutated when it meets with air.
Vitamin c can play a retarding role in concrete admixtures, and the setting time of cement can be extended, so that it is possible to reduce slump loss and extend construction operation time.
Application
1. In the food industry, it can both use as nutritional supplements, supplementary VC in food processing, and also is good antioxidants in food preservation, which is widely used in meat products, fermented flour products, beer, tea, fruit juice, canned fruit, canned meat and so on; it is also commonly used in cosmetics, feed additives.
2. In concrete industry, Vitamin C can be used as reducing agent in the synthesis of polycarboxylic superplasticizer.
3. In the field of medicine, vitamin C can be directly used as medicine to treat some diseases.
