Product Description
Welan gum is a new type of microbial polysaccharide after xanthan gum, gellan gum, and warm wheel gum. It is a water-soluble biopolymer produced by microbial fermentation. It has excellent thickening, pseudo-plasticity, and high-temperature resistance, It has excellent characteristics such as high salt resistance and a wide range of pH adaptability. It can be widely used in petroleum, building materials, and other industries with broad application prospects.
Welan gum is a rheological modifier of microbial macromolecular colloid with pseudoplasticity. It has the advantages of high purity, low content, high water retention, anti-hanging, thickening, viscosification, good adaptability, and so on. Application
What is a water retaining admixture ?
Admixtures that can reduce water loss in concrete or mortar are called water retaining admixture.
Welan gum is used in the construction industry to improve the suspension ability of sand and stone without increasing the plastic viscosity of concrete during pumping. The warm wheel glue can greatly improve the water retention performance of the slurry and reduce the surface cracking; Water is not easy to be quickly absorbed by cement particles, and cement hydration is complete, which is conducive to the later strength improvement. Welan gum is used in mortar to make the distribution of various components in the slurry uniform, make the slurry homogeneous and stable, and prevent the slurry from settling stratification and bleeding.
In ready-mixed mortar, the addition of Welan gum is very low, but it can significantly improve the performance of wet mortar, and is a major additive affecting the construction performance of mortar. Reasonable selection of different varieties, different viscosity, different particle size, different viscosity and addition amount of Welan gum has a positive impact on the improvement of the performance of dry powder mortar. At present, many masonry and plastering mortars have poor water retention performance, and water-slurry separation will occur after a few minutes of standing.
Self-compacting cement additive
