    Product Description

Sodium citrate, white crystal or granular powder. Odorless, with a cool, salty, spicy taste. Normal temperature and air are slightly soluble in wet air, and produce weathering in hot air. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. Sodium citrate is the most important citrate in the industry at present, and it is extremely versatile and can be used in food, environmental protection, electroplating and brewing industries.

Sodium citrate is used as an acidity regulator, flavoring agent and stabilizer in the food and beverage industry; as an

anti-coagulant. In the detergent industry, it can replace tripolyphosphate. Sodium is used as an auxiliary for non-toxic detergents; it is also used in brewing, injecting solutions, photographic drugs and electroplating.

    Product characteristics

    Safe and non-toxic properties

It has good pH adjustment and buffering performance

    Excellent solubility

    Application

    1. Construction industry

In the construction industry, sodium citrate can be added as a retarder in the production of concrete, which can improve the anti-freezing, compressive, and tensile properties of cement products. Under the social conditions of increasingly serious environmental problems, the sulfur dioxide in the exhaust gas of some smelters is seriously exceeded, and studies have shown that the use of sodium citrate's characteristics to remove the sulfur in industrial exhaust is obvious.

    2. Food

In food, sodium citrate is used as a food additive, the largest demand, mainly used as a flavoring agent, buffer, emulsifier, expansion agent, stabilizer and preservative; In addition, sodium citrate is used with citric acid as a gelling agent, nutritional supplement and flavor agent for various jams, jellies, fruit juices, beverages, cold drinks, dairy products, and pastries.

    3. Medicine

Used in the pharmaceutical industry as an anticoagulant, expectorant, and diuretic.

    4. Industrial

Sodium citrate has been widely used in the manufacture of phosphorus-free laundry powders and liquid detergents.

    5. Electroplating and manufacturing

Because sodium citrate has good complexing properties, it also has good uses in the electroplating industry. In addition, sodium citrate is also used in grinding and whitening technology in the manufacturing of nanomaterials and ceramics industry.
